I started taking photographs while growing up in the South Africa in the 1980’s. I was inspired by the work of photographers like Kevin Carter, David Goldblatt, Henri Cartier Bresson and Sebastiao Salgado.
 
I initially pursued a career in journalism, which brought me to London. In 2003, I changed careers and followed my passion for photography.
 
The philosophy behind my photography is not to interfere, to capture things as they are, to create a visual story that will freeze the moment.
 
Whether its portraiture, corporate, events, weddings or civil partnerships I’m photographing, my goal is to shoot fun, stylish, real life images which have a timeless elegance.
